cookies
ingredients:
1 cup unsalted softened butter, 225 g
3 cups all-purpose flour 330g
1 cup white sugar 225g
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking powder
vanilla
aroma
colored
sugar
preparation
First preheat the oven to 180 degrees. we sift the flour next
to the teaspoons of baking powder to avoid lumps. You can do it with a
strainer.
In another
bowl add the butter at room temperature and sugar. we beat with a rod mixer,
add the egg and beat again. then the extract or aroma of vanilla.
Then we add the flour to the previous ingredients
(butter, sugar, egg etc.) We work the dough with a spoon to bind it. once we
have the very compact dough we take it out of the container and wrap it in flim
paper. Let it stand for
a few minutes.
sprinkle a smooth surface with flour and with the help of
a roller we flatten the dough. For our cookies we will leave the dough with a
thickness of 8 millimeters, it does not have to be too thin, since they break. We use molds to cut the star-shaped
cookies or as you like. (If you don't have molds, use a glass upside down).
We prepare a
baking tray and place wax paper on top. Add colored sugar on each cookie
and place them on the baking sheet. bake the cookie for 6 and 8 minutes.
Then take them out and let them cool, the cookies in the
oven until we can remove them, your cookies are ready to serve, you can
accompany them with a rich tea or coffee.
